Nitsch and Son Utility Co. Inc was founded in 1960 by Arnold John (AJ) Nitsch to serve as the primary water and waste-water utility provider for the area of Northern Houston generally located along Interstate 45, north of Canino Road. For over 20 years AJ ran the company as a thriving family business alongside his son, Glenn. When AJ passed away in 1984, Glenn Nitsch took over the family business and has continued to operate the company through today. As it always has been, and will forever be, Nitsch and Son Utility is not just a neighborhood company, but is a neighborhood partner. Glenn Nitsch and all of the Nitsch employees are active in community and school events, local churches and the company has generously provided financial support for a wide variety of local causes. This includes a long-standing relationships with local churches, the local Improvement District and Houston Independent School District FFA Programs. Nitsch and Son Utility Co is proud of it's long history of neighborhood involvement and partnership and looks forward to many more years of prominence in the community.
